Need help with his odd behavior...?

This behaviour reminds me of a boyfriend I had many years ago, who did the same thing. He was extremely possessive, highly jealous and very judgemental. He wanted to possess me, but seemed to resent me. He would often treat me as though he wanted me but wished he didn't! The relationship was bad for my self-esteem and I left it.
