Train conductors and railfans?

There used to be a number of people that did monikers on cars.The old head rails here will remember one's like Herbie and Bozo Texino and others.Now they all use spray paint.Most of it is just a waste of paint but there are some very good artists too.I don't really know what i'd do if i saw someone painting cars.It might depend on the quality of their work lol.Most graffiti(especially the gang related crap) is just an eyesore to me as well as destruction of property.I often wonder how they can afford all that paint.I imagine they steal most of it but i don't really know.I like looking at the well done artwork though.
