Taxing oil companies?

Did you just hear Senator Bob Casey (PA) say that they want to tax oil companies because they quadrupled their profits. He said that most American families have not quadrupled their profits, so the oil companies SHOULD be taxed. I thought we were ENCOURAGING prosperity, not punishing it. Considering the fact that they make 6-12 cents profit for each gallon of gas, do you think that is an unreasonable profit?
