Does anyone like the start of my short story?

A short story is usually devoid of any non-plot related text (because, after all, you want the story to be short), so try and miss things such as description and dialogue that won't be of any importance. You need to start with action and head straight into the story, maybe you could use a first person viewpoint of the shark attack to add a bit more drama, it'll really grab the readers interest.
